Spa Policies

Reservations

Consultations and services are available by appointment. Upon booking, clients will be asked to use a credit card to guarantee the reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Shining Way Esthetics has a 24-hour cancellation policy to allow other services to be offered at that time. A $25 fee will be charged to the credit card on file for missed appointments not cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Return Policy

All services, packages and pre-paid treatments are not subject to refunds. If a patient is not satisfied with any service be it rendered or un-rendered, the remaining balance can be used towards other services at Shining Way Esthetics.

Privacy Policy

Shining Way Esthetics takes your privacy seriously. We ensure that the staff will not discuss patient treatments with any other patients. We are compliant with HIPAA guidelines and provide our privacy policy upon request.

Test Results

Multiple testing methods may be used in your healthcare plan. Depending upon the testing requested and lab(s) being used, turn-around time on results can range from 24 hours to 3 weeks. You will be contacted by the office when all test results are available for review; however, we suggest you schedule your follow-up appointment to ensure appointment availability.

Insurance Claims

In order to focus primarily on our patients, our office does not file insurance claims. We do provide the necessary ICD-10 and CPT codes related to your reason for visit, symptoms, recommended testing, and treatments. This document is referred to as a superbill. When you are ready to file your claim with your insurance company, you will need to contact them for the appropriate documents. Thereafter, please send all documents including receipt of payment and superbill to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement depending on your individual health insurance plan. You are welcome to speak to your insurance company before performing any testing.

Prescription Refills

Please contact your pharmacy to request refills. Refill requests may take up to 36 hrs to complete. Please allow both our office and the pharmacy the requested time to process your refill request.

Emergencies

You may call our office 24 hours a day and leave a message to notify us of an incident. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.
